Ivan Kristoff, with the support of the City of Shoumen Police and Fire Department, staged a demonstration over the Madara rocks to promote the celebrations of 30th Anniversary since the Madara Horseman is included in the list of monuments of the world cultural and natural heritage compiled at UNESCO and 100th Anniversary of the first excavations in the Madara Cave.

Near 10000 people gather together from all across Bulgaria to celebrate this special event. The demonstration started at
a large clearing besides the Horseman of Madara monument, a magnificent bas-relief cut into a vertical rock at a height of 23 m.
